It's been a while since you know the toilet ghost in Kamome. He's very fun to be with and you should admit that you like being with him. You just want to be beside him at all times. He's the only one who occupied your mind for these 7 months since you changed school. You like the way he smiles, the way he reach out for your hand, the way he jump on you and hug you tightly. He probably knew how you feel about him by now, and you're positive that he likes you too at some point. But none of you had confessed your feelings to each other.
Are you perhaps thinking of his affections the wrong way?
"What are you thinking about?"
His head suddenly appeared upside down in front of your face, suprising you. That's the ghost boy who colonized your mind to be his territory.
You instantly moves back a bit with a slight blush on your face. You tried to calm yourself down as you peek to the right and left and make sure no one thinking of you weirdly. You sigh as you smiled bitterly and wrote on your notebook,
"I'm thinking about you."
It took him a few seconds before he gave a respond. "Eh, wha?!"
Blush covered all over his face. You frustratedly burried your head on the table. Stealing a glance a bit to see how is he doing after seeing your reaction.
"U-um what did I do wrong? Did I do something?" He asked after getting himself to stand up properly. But, suddenly he smiled teasingly, poking to your cheek, "Oh, or is it perhaps because you're catching feelings for me~"
Hahaha. You laughed sarcastically in your mind. Is he really that clueless?
"What kind of feeling do you think I have for you?" You lazily wrote.
He ponders a bit before excitedly shouts, "feelings of love that is! You like me don't you?"
He said it in such joking manner. Is this guy for real?!
Either way, you can't hide it anymore. You feel you're blushing to your ears. You could tell that he realised it too with the way he starts to blush as well. You feel like you wanna cry because you wanna snap but you're still in the middle of the class.
Therefore out of frustration, this is what you wrote : I HATE YOU, HANAKO-KUN.
"Don't say that! Please don't be mad at me. Is your face red because you're angry? I'm sorry, okay?" He tries to persuade you panically until the bell rings. It's time to go back home.
You glared at him and pack up your bags. Walking grumpily to the old school building.
Really now, does he really can not tell? You can't help feeling ridiculed with the way he's making fun of your feelings. It sounds so easy for him to do that. You're so angry, you don't realised tears start streaming down from your face.
You stopped as you wipe your wet cheeks. This feeling is so frustrating for you.
"Y/n-" You hear him calls you a few steps back. "I'm sorry. I took it way too far. I shouldn't joke about your feelings... Do you really like me?"
You don't answer and sobs harder as you crouched down, covering your face with your knees.
"I-" It took a few moments until you feel he's staring at you with the same eye-level from the front. He tugged on your sleeve, calling your name tenderly, "Y/n..."
You're still not answering, but you quieted down a bit. Waiting for him to continue.
"I like you a lot. I think you're the prettiest girl I've ever seen. I-I'm not very good at conveying words, I know that. I do get the feeling that you perhaps like me too, but I'm still not sure of it and I'm afraid that I guessed wrong. So I tried to tease you about it, since I thought you will just brush it away coldly if you don't like me or just blush a bit like usual-
"I admit, I didn't consider it much, I never thought that you will ended up crying... I'm such an idiot. So, could you please forgive me?"
You huff and lift up your face. "No!"
"Pretty please?"
You gazed away and bit your lips. Seeing his face makes you can't stand being mad for too long. You shouldn't be this easy–
"Make me your girlfriend." You mumbled with a frown.
"Hm?!"
"I like you too! You said you knew it!" You pushed him roughly to the floor.
That really caught him by suprise. His eyes went wide as the rush of panic starts to fill his head. He desperately try to say anything that comes to his mind so you wouldn't get angrier.
"I WAS JUST GUESSING. I–I never expected it to be real!" He covered his eyes to not see you who is on the top of him as his voice becomes smaller. His face is really red right now, you feel like your heart is about to explode.
You both are just the same... Keep guessing on each other feelings, thought that both of you knew it when actually you're not sure and think you're just being overly too confident about it. You don't really dare to make a move for a fear that your hunch might be wrong and it'll make everything awkward for both of you.
"So you don't like it that I like you?" You pester him to the corner.
"It's the opposite! I like you so much I don't think I'll be more happier than this!" He shouts.
You both fell silent until...
"Eh, what are you guys doing on the floor?" You both hear Yashiro's confused voice.
Then you start to realise the position you're in. You immediately pull yourself back, supporting yourself to sit with both of your hands as if you're a maiden in distress. Not believing of what you just did... What's with you–
Hanako doesn't even help with it.
"Y/n being so bold~" You hear him who is still in the same position whines. You about to protest if he doesn't suddenly sit up with all grin and says, "We're dating now!"

A few weeks after the confession...
"I thought my confession scene will be somewhat romantic, but I got it by fighting and crying on old school building floor instead–" You sigh dramatically. "If only a certain someone didn't made me incredibly mad with that worse kind of joke! I hope you'll do better in our next life. Confess to me properly!"
Hanako chuckles. "But isn't it pretty romantic? The background at least. We were in the middle of the hallway bathing in sunset light~" He hugs himself with his happy grin. Floating around, daydreaming.
You pouted a bit, "well maybe... It has it own's charms."
"Yep! It isn't like any other cliche confession scenes. Don't you think? It's ours after all!" He said excitedly, taking both of your hands as he pulls you closer. "It surely is unforgettable, I'm the only one who dares to mess with a girl when she's being a tiger~"
You huff, glaring daggers at him. "RAWR!"
Yashiro sweatdrops at both of your antics. "Really now Hanako-kun, you should stop messing with Y/n on her time of the month..."
He just laughed lightly as he replies back to your rawr. "FFFHHH."
You blushed. Causing Kou to frown. "COULD YOU GUYS JUST TALK WITH HUMAN'S LANGUAGE?"
"Oh, boy. If you're jealous just say it–" Hanako teased which earned him a smack.

Dating Headcanons with Hanako-kun
- Ever since he fell for you, he stopped touching Yashiro affectionally because he wants to look good in front you and he just isn't interested in Yashiro as much he is to you. Yashiro supports this!
- He thinks you're adorable and must be protected at all cost, especially because you're an innocent curious cat that often get in trouble without realising it. If only he's not there most of the time watching over you, who knows what you will get into.
- He loves seeing you smile and got all excited about random stuffs. Like you just look up to the fluffy clouds in the middle of blue sky and become all happy while telling him how that day is such a good day ♡ He would reciprocate your bright smile happily.
- When you become upset and even cry, he knows you need to be hugged since that's what you always do. If you're not hugging him first, he'll hug you. He'll listen to your stuttering voice while soothing your back, patiently helping you to calm down.
- When you're mad, he feels so helpless he doesn't know what to do. Sometimes he just pester you with his cute pouty face and beg you to talk to him what's wrong. He'll poke your cheek and steps back fast when you glare at him. But in the end, he will sighs, pat and hug you till you broke down into sobs since you always feel bad when you got mad at him. He knew this since you told him about it.
- He doesn't like the idea of seeing you crying, but if it helps you feeling better with your bad moods, he'll let you do it and stay beside you to cheer you up.
- He often throws fun facts for you since he knows you will get excited from it! He's willing to share his knowledge about space with you and tell you every small random things that made you smile.
- If you found Tsuchigomori, Yako, the Mokkes, and your friends suprisingly know stuffs about you, just know that it's because Hanako tell them things about you a lot. He literally can't stop doing it–so, for example, when you got menstruation pain or things like that, you should be ok with everyone helping you.
"TSUCHIGOMORI! Y/N IS IN PAIN RIGHT NOW! WHAT SHOULD WE DO??? SHE SAID IT'S MONTHLY STUFF! HOW COULD AN ANGEL LIKE HER GOT THAT HORRIBLE PAIN EVERY MONTH???"
"It's because she's a girl Hanako-kun–" Yashiro said with a drop of sweat on her head. "Give her something warm, that'll make her feel better. Don't let her get tired or mad. She's highly sensitive right now."
Then you'll find your P.E teacher let you free from his class because Tsuchigomori told him to do so. No one questioned it since they all know you're born with a weak body. The patient list on infirmary mostly filled with your name after all.
"Y/n, I brought you some cookies. Hanako said you love them, so help yourself!" Kou beaming with his friendly smile as he offers you cookies.
"Thanks Kou! You're the best!" You munched the cookies happily. "It taste so good~"
It was so peaceful until you said things out of nowhere like, "You'll be such a good husband, Kou. Will you marry me?"
And Hanako will scream panically, "NO, KID, STAY BACK! DON'T GET CLOSER TO HER!" as he drags you further away from the little exorcist. "Y/N, I THOUGHT YOU LIKE ME! FOR YOUR INFORMATION, HE WON'T BRING THOSE TO YOU IF I DIDN'T TELL HIM YOU LIKE IT!"
"But what if I told him I do~" You playfully pout to tease him.
"HE'S NOT THAT AMAZING. I COULD COOK TOO!" And he'll pester Tsuchigomori to help him become a master chef.
You never expected it, but even he could pulled it properly with a bunch of practice. Poor Tsuchigomori and Kou for helping cleaning up the mess. You should be ready hearing him boost of his new skill to everyone. "See? Am I amazing? I told you I can do it!"
- Everyone approves your relationship since he spend less time annoying them and he won't be as troublesome as before. The moment they notice he changes to the better to make you love him more, they could never feel more happy than that. They will report you about bad things that he does so you would scold him for them. Hanako will listen to you is what they think. Let's say he does half of the time, the rest of it is he making you very flustered instead to the point you got hesitant to bring it up ever again.
- He often try to suprise you with gifts since you often come up with one for him. His gifts are kinda messed up most of the times, but you're always happy to accept it. The intention is what matters!
- Sometimes when he found you're sleeping in class or anywhere else, he'll just sit there quietly next to you. Adoring your face as he daydream about your future together. He'll play with your hair unconsciously while he's at it. He'll make sure you won't wake up unless you need to. If he doesn't spend that time to daydream, he will just use it to whisper a thousand of sentence of his love for you.
- He suprisingly doesn't tease you with ugly/embarassing nicknames such as radish since he thought of you way too preciously. Besides, he already found a lot of fun trying to make you become flustered. The other reason is, he just doesn't want you to become more insecure than you already are. You don't show it a lot, but he notice it when your face slightly become sad. He promised himself he won't ever do that to you.
- He blushed a lot when you're being bold to him about affection. When you hug him, kiss him on the cheek, held his hand. He will become a blushing mess and you think that's incredibly cute.
- He does a lot of revenge tho. He'll hug you out of nowhere, whisper to your ear, and get way too close to you just to see you blush. He loves it when he's all cheesy and flirty, you immediately will cover your face out of embarrassment with your own hands or run to him to bury your face in his hug. He'll laugh cheerfully, feeling overly satisfied with your reaction.
- he thinks it's amazing that you almost have no fear. Even if you got scared, you always force yourself to be brave and smartly run away. It reassured him that he knows you have the ability to protect yourself despite how innocent you are at times, not that he will stop protecting you tho.
- He'll learn a lot of stuffs to impress you! He loves it when you put all of your attention to him.
- He took care of you very well. He'll make sure you don't get too tired, have some proper rest and meals. You're kinda a workaholic despite how weak is your body, it worries him a lot. At these times, he will put on a strict card or else you will rebel to work more instead.
"Okay, Y/n, times up! Go to rest now, I'll help you handle the rest." He said as he took the pen and papers from your hand.
"But Hanako, I need to finish this!"
"Nah, ah, you've been doing this for a while, the lunch break almost ends, you won't have time to eat. I don't want you to collapse like the last time, okay? No is a no." And you just know you won't win. He did it for you after all, so you're not mad about it.
- He could be very clingy by leaning his head on your shoulder or just lean on your back. He's touching you a lot since it's him after all! He will lay on your lap and become overjoyed when you pat his head with smile on your face. But since you're dating, he will be more self-concious about his actions, there's never a time when he's not blushing when kissing you on your cheeks. Sometimes he pulls you to do those instead of him in excuse to take care of you. It feels nice.
- You guys never kiss on the lips even after 8 months dating. Not even a peck because you both are highly embarassed of that idea! So kissing each others cheeks is the most high act of affection you guys do. Not that you guys never tried it tho! You did, and it ended up with sharing indirect kisses instead :')
- He got jealous pretty easily. Some days he will just hug you from the back and pull you from the boys at least 3 meters away. It's not that he doesn't trust you, but he hates the idea of those boys thinking that they have a chance with you. You're his only! He's the only one who is allowed to daydream about you!
- If you play otome games and start praising the characters you like, he'll pout and feel a bit defeated. He will went to the phase of : don't talk to me. Just play with your otome game hubbies. He got a lil insecure when he thinks he doesn't have all the qualities of being your perfect man. You keep praising about this Luke Pearce and he totally see why you would fawn over him. He's a good guy who has a lot of abilities and appreciate you a lot. It's hard to say it indecent. He knows it well that you never fall for someone because of their appearance, that's how you fell for him after all. Or no–tbh he doesn't get why you fell for him but it's always easy for him to tell that you do with how much you become flustered around him and instantly be happy when he's around. He knows you know about his feelings too because he's basically the same.
- At those time, just hug him and persuade him. Tell him how much you love him and there's no one who could touch you or do things to you as much as he does and he will melt at your antics as he hugs you back. You'll still hear him being bitter about it tho. Just be prepared to listen to him complaining for 15 minutes straight as a punishment.
- One day you accidentally peck each other lips, never in your life you instantly bolts back to the wall as fast as you do when at the same time he did too! You guys become flustered about it for a week straight.
- Believe me, it took you ages just to share a kiss and try to get used to it–probably it happen after two months being married
- Hanako knows all your secrets, you trust him a lot. Therefore you told him everything about you. On the other hand, it took time for him to open up. You tried to not pester him and be understanding about it. You know it will feel uncomfortable when people trying to dig up things when you're not ready to tell them about it yet. It's not that he doesn't trust you, you know that. He's just afraid that you will think of him differently, even if that least likely to happen. Just the smallest possibilities of you're leaving him makes his heart feels like it's bleeding. He's also worried that he will make you cry and become upset everytime you see him, knowing how much of empath you are. You will try to distract yourself a lot from thinking negative thoughts such as you're not someone who can make him comfortable enough to share things. Seeing how you're being patient with him despite feeling upset about it, he'll eventually tell you his secrets bit by bit. And it makes him incredibly happy when he knows you still love him either ways. He's so glad he fell for someone like you.
